KinkKal is strictly an informational directory. We aggregate, organize, and display publicly available information regarding community events.

• We do not host or endorse events: KinkKal does not organize, sponsor, vet, or endorse any of the events, venues, or individuals listed on this platform.
• Attend at your own risk: You assume all risks associated with attending any event listed on KinkKal. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or dispute that occurs as a result of attending an event found through our directory.
• Accuracy of Information: While our Editors strive for accuracy, event details (times, locations, costs, rules) change frequently. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any listing. Always verify details with the official event organizer.

3. User Submissions & Public Data

When you submit an event or correction to KinkKal, you are actively contributing to a public database.

• Public Visibility: You acknowledge that any event details submitted will be publicly visible on the internet. Do not submit private, invite-only, or residential events without the explicit permission of the organizer.
• Right to Moderate: KinkKal and its Editors reserve the right to edit, modify, reject, or delete any submission at our sole discretion, for any reason, without notice.
• No Spam or Solicitations: Submissions must be genuine community events. Commercial spam, irrelevant advertising, or malicious links will be removed immediately.

4. Editor Accounts & Gamification

KinkKal utilizes gamification elements (Experience Points (XP), Trust Multipliers, Titles, and Trophies) to reward community contribution.

• No Monetary Value: XP, badges, and rankings have absolutely no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, cashed out, or transferred.
• Editor Privileges: Editor roles are granted on a volunteer basis. We reserve the right to revoke Editor access, reset XP, or remove badges if we detect abuse of the system, malicious editing, or violation of community trust.

5. Security, Scraping, and "The Sentinel"

We take the security and stability of our platform seriously. You agree not to:

• Use automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to extract data from KinkKal.
• Attempt to bypass our security measures, probe for vulnerabilities, or execute attacks (e.g., SQL injection, DDoS) against our infrastructure.

Enforcement: Our automated security system ("The Sentinel") actively monitors for abusive traffic. Engaging in prohibited activities will result in an immediate, automated, and permanent ban of your IP address.

As we are a community project and we believe in sharing what we've collected, we provide open JSON and RSS feeds that other services can extract data from.

6. Intellectual Property & Third-Party Links

KinkKal contains links to third-party websites (such as FetLife, venue pages, and ticketing platforms). We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.

The KinkKal name, logo, custom graphics, and proprietary codebase are the property of KinkKal. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our proprietary assets without explicit permission.

7. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the site following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
