What is this awful mood we fall into after a scene, and what the heck can we do about it? In this class, Miriam Green will draw on what we know about the neuropsychology of BDSM to help us better understand drop, and build strategies for resilience when we face it. We'll talk about: Common misconceptions about drop What's going on in the mind, brain and body Mind-body strategies for before, during and after the scene to help us bounce back How to change our narrative to avoid making drop worse The best ways to effectively communicate after a scene -- for good scenes and bad You'll come away with better self-understanding and a self-care toolkit to draw on when drop comes calling.
